Leftover Salmon has been mixing bluegrass, rock and Cajun swing since 1989, and they still play like it is the first night of the tour. Put Dan Tyminski on that stage, the voice so many of us know from O Brother, Where Art Thou?, and you have a night I was not going to miss.

A stage full of pickers trading solos moves fast. Mandolin to banjo to fiddle and back again, and the shot you want is usually the half second when two of them lock eyes and grin. That is what I chase at a show like this.

Thank you to From The Earth Brewing for bringing a show this size to Roswell.

Booking a show, a tour stop or a band promo shoot? I would love to hear from you.
